Domain Names and Nominet

City of Edinburgh Education Establishment Domain Naming and Nominet

Domain names ending in .edin.sch.uk for City of Edinburgh schools and establishments are registered and maintained by us on your behalf through Nominet. Full information about Nominet and what they do is available here:

http://www.nominet.uk

All such domain names and registrations are subject to Nominet’s terms and conditions, which can be found here:

You can make requests to us for domain name maintenance (adding a new one, deleting one which is no longer needed, problem resolution etc.) by emailing us at digital@ea.edin.sch.uk

We will acknowledge your request within one working day and provide you with a clear indication of the expected completion date within a maximum of five working days thereafter. We endeavour to complete all requests within that period or provide you with a firm completion date if it is likely to take longer.

If you want to discuss or get advice on your domain name requirements, you can email us as above or telephone us on 0131 469 2999.

If you wish to complain about any aspect of the service we provide, you can contact us in the ways described above, or alternatively using the Council’s standard complaints procedure, which can be found here:

http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/complaints

The full complaints procedure, including how to escalate complaints, can be found here:
