The Digital Learning Team supports the embedding of technologies in learning and teaching to improve the outcomes for all learners in the City of Edinburgh.
We do this by keeping up to date with local, national and global technology issues with specific reference to education, offering advice to schools and senior leaders in Children and Families on digital technology and its role in enhancing the learning experience. We also offer a wide range of professional development opportunities for Children and Families staff in Edinburgh, working directly with teachers and students in the classroom and communicating with teachers, students, parents/carers and the wider world via this blog!
The Digital Learning Team currently consists of one primary and three secondary seconded teachers who are passionate about the use of technology for learning. Each has taken time out of the classroom to share and develop good practice in our schools and encourage all staff to embrace technology to enhance the learning experience for all our students.
Members of the team:
- Richard Burgess (Digital Learning Manager)
- Nadia Kettles (Senior Development Officer)
- Kristen Moore (ICT System and Support Administrator)
- Peter Lennon (Development Officer – Secondary)
- Anna Kellner (Development Officer – Secondary)
