Today is Safer Internet Day 2013. This global day aims to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology, especially amongst children and young people. Anna from the Digital Learning Team is at the Edinburgh SID conference today organised by the City of Edinburgh Council and we can share the winners of the Edinburgh competition with you..

Best Poster Award went to three P7 students from Trinity Primary School. You can see the poster here on the left and it is available to download here. It will be sent to every GP surgery, Community Centre, Library and School in Edinburgh. Well done Trinity!

Most Creative Award went to students from St Mark’s Primary School for their Internet Safety Song. Click here to hear. Well done St Mark’s!

Best Video Award went to students from P5a at Forthview Primary School for a video message compilation which was made using their iPads. Hopefully we’ll have a link to it soon. Well done Forthview!
